Invitación de la diabla - An Experiment in Thought
Full-view, por favor.
This has been a stop-and-go work for quite a while. I was going for a certain atmosphere and, while I'm not sure that I achieved my aim, this is probably as good as it's going to get. Lots of colours here...
You know that feeling you get... a longing to be someone else? Someone far more prettier, dangerous, outgoing, etc. than you are? To me, this piece represents the allure of that dream and the temptation that is part of that entire scenario. We all have a hidden self lurking within us and it is not always the nicest being in the world. Most of us keep our hidden devil locked away, but what if we gave in? Imagine how different life would be...

God, I wish I cold learn how to "tint" my pieces like you do... (Maybe not the best phrase, but I don't know how else to say it.) None of the messings about that I do ever end up looking very good. Maybe I'll get a handle on it, someday.

This is lovely, hon. Truly. I love the colors and the mood. I've felt the way you describe, many, many times. I'm currently on a self-improvement journey that is as much for vanity as it is for health reasons. I want to be pretty, damnit!
(Via your id, you're GORGEOUS, btw. I've been wanting to mention that for awhile now. I wish you lived closer. You could come model for me.)
*insert dirty old man leer* (I'm not a man, of course, but this is still a fun look to pull, sometimes.) I'm done, now. Really.
Very nicely done. The contrast between reality and fantasy is very surreal, yet still conveys the very real truth - that we all have a monster gazing back from the mirror's depths. Excellent work.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
